Entangled Handgun

Learn to work inside of arms reach, standing and on the ground, utilizing aggressive and practical hands on techniques. The violent escape and simulation (UTM) firearms and blades will be used to create and maintain distance. Class culminates in force-on-force scenarios based on open ground and in confined spaces.

**This course has a pre-requisite of our Defensive Handgun course or similar training, based on our approval.**

12 Hours of Instruction Includes:

Criminal Assault Paradigm
Utilizing Verbals
Body Positioning
Recognizing Tripwires
Surviving the Initial Assault
Violent Escape
Ground Clinch
In Fight Weapons Access
Live Fire at Close Contact
Scenario Based Training
UTM Force-on-Force Training

Required Equipment:

Training gun/blue gun/red gun (if you don’t have one, we will have extras)
Boxing gloves (if you have them)
Daily Carry Handgun
Backup or Secondary Handgun (if available)
100 Rounds of Handgun Ammunition
Daily Carry Holster and Magazine Carrier (no metal belt clip-style nylon holsters)
Sturdy Belt
3 Magazines or Speed Loaders (more is better – please load them before class starts)
Hearing Protection and Eye Protection (electronic hearing protection recommended)
Closed Toed Shoes are Required
Bandanna
Long sleeved shirt or light sweatshirt
Gloves that do not prohibit your ability to shoot, hold onto things, etc.
Mouthpiece and Athletic Cup (recommended but not required)
Pants
Hat and Sunscreen are Recommended
Lunch and Water
