Intro to Dirt Medicine

This class covers the fundamentals of patient assessment, stopping the bleeding and starting the breathing, or what we call BACON: Breathing and Airway Control. In other words, how to save a life! You will also learn about modern field equipment and how to build your own trauma kit. All training is hands on, and all training supplies are provided. This is a great introduction program into the world of dirt medicine, and how it differs from clinical medical treatment.
